We offer the 2000 series, which is our full line of excess flow valves, for all types of fluids and processes. Excess flow valves are in-line devices to limit the upstream or downstream flow when extreme under/over flow rates occur. We have manufactured the valves for all types of liquid and gaseous fluids. These fluids have included LP-Gas, Butane, Anhydrous Ammonia, Anhydrous Chlorine, air, water, Nitrogen, etc…. We have a wide variety of pressure classes, material options and flange designs. Please see our standard product line sheet for specifications. We will custom design and manufacture an excess flow valves to meet your exact specifications. All valves are tested to your specifications in our flow lab facility that is equipped with the state of the art data acquisition software.

The 2100 Series valve is equipped with a weep hole to allow for pressure equalization once the valve closes and is equipped with an auto reset feature. 2105 Series Excess Flow Valves are designed to easily insert between ANSI class flanges for use in liquid or vapor service. These valves are lightweight, durable and offer a more generous flow rate than the 2100 model. Standard design on the 2105 Series valve has a weep hole to allow for pressure equalization once the valve closes. An optional external manual bypass system is also offered (shown in photograph.) This reduces the time it takes for pressure to equalize and the valve to reopen. The valve is available in carbon or stainless steel - other materials available upon request.

2120 Series Excess Flow Valves are designed for use in liquid or vapor service. These valves are heavily constructed and can withstand years of service. The 2120 Series comes standard with 150# or 300 # ANSI class flanges. Available standard in carbon or stainless steel; however, other materials are available upon request. Internal components are also offered in ceramic. The 2120 series comes with flanged connections, but can be ordered with a butt welded or threaded connection option. A weep hole for automatic pressure equalization is standard. An external manual bypass system is optional. The system consists of ½” SS piping with a CS or SS mini valve with/without a weep hole. Closing flow rates for the 2120 Series Excess Flow Valves are factory preset per customer requirements.

The 2180 Series has female NPT connections on both the inlet and outlet sides. It is designed with a manual reset rather than a weep hole in the disc for pressure equalization and automatic resetting. Available in standard carbon steel, the body can also be offered in stainless steel. Internal components are available in stainless steel. Each valve comes standard with an Inconel spring. Closing flow rates are factory preset per customer’s specifications.

2600 Series Excess Flow Valves are designed as safety valves to stop the flow when a hose or pipeline is severed downstream. Various sizes are used in small laboratories to large refineries, chemical processing plants, semiconductor industry, pharmaceutical, biotech and food plants.
Unique features include an infield externally adjustable setting or resetting of the trip point. This allows avoidance of nuisance trips when fluid properties change, the design flow changes, varying flow rates and seasonal fluctuations. A sliding poppet is within a chamber with an orifice at one end wherein the closing flow rate settings can be adjusted. Precise adjustments can be made externally by turning a threaded member extending through the valve which causes a retainer to move laterally within the chamber. Turning the threaded member enables the maximum travel distance of the poppet and therefore the threshold flow rate of the valve can be precisely set.
