Ball valves are quarter turn valves that are durable, performing well after many cycles, and reliable, closing securely even after long periods of disuse. These qualities make them an excellent choice for shutoff and control applications, where they are often preferred to gate and globe valves, but they lack their fine control in throttling applications. Ball valves are offered with either floating or trunnion mounted balls. They can be offered with manual operators that open and close the valve with a lever or a gear operator or an actuator can be added to allow for remote operation of the valve. The ball can be offered in reduced port, which can reduce the flow of the fluid through the system, full port, which has the same size opening as the piping, or in a V-Shape design, which can aid in flow control applications. At Total Valve Systems, we offer a full selection of industry leading ball valves.
The V1-1 design includes integral seats, RiTech® hard coatings, blowout-proof stem and live-loaded packing.
The flagship of the ValvTechnologies’ product line, the V1-1, is the valve by which all other severe service metal-seated ball valves are measured.
ValvTechnologies V1-2 flanged valves come in more sizes – you can put superior performance and long life where they are needed, in virtually any cast or forged material.
ValvTechnologies' V1-4 severe service metal seated ball valve extends our core design concepts to large diameter and higher pressure applications
The NexTech® R Series (regular series) utilize the same coating and live-loading technology that built the V Series product line, but in a lower-torque, inherently bi-directional package.
The NexTech® E Series (enhanced series) represents a true engineered-to-spec, specialty valve with materials selected to meet the needs of the most demanding applications.
ValvTechnologies’ TrunTech® is designed to address the severe service demands of the upstream and midstream oil and gas industries.
The WKM 320 Series features a patent-pending seat that enables internal cavity relief while maintaining bidirectional sealing capability.
The WKM 370D Series ball valves satisfy a wide range of ANSI and API Spec 6D applications.
The WKM C50 valve is a two-piece threaded end valve that satisfies a wide range of applications.
The WKM Model 210A floating ball valve is a two-piece design with a ductile iron body and tailpiece.
Trunnion ball valves, both side entry and top entry, are designed and produced according to the standard API 6D/6DSS and up to class 2500 and API 6A/17D up to pressure class API 15000 for specific applications as offshore platforms, pipeline transportation, piggable pipeline (pig traps), blowdown and reinjection and pumping.
