Total Valve Systems is proud to represent Slade Packing, Inc, a premier group of products designed for reducing shaft and stem wear, minimizing pump flush requirements, minimizing VOC emissions and providing fire safe protection for valves handling flammable products. Slade packing is manufactured with a patented process where the vermiculated graphite is bonded to pure carbon fibers that produce a durable matrix of 99.5% pure carbon graphite sealing element. Unlike other products with simple graphite dispersion to produce sealing the graphite will not be washed out under normal conditions and will remain in to do the sealing.
